Brittanie graduated in 2017 with a degree in Veterinary Science. After successfully passing the VTNE, she became licensed through the state of Georgia and officially earned her title as a Licensed Veterinary Technician!
Outside of her professional life, Brittanie is married and a proud mom of two boys—with one more on the way! She is an active member of her church, where she regularly serves in children’s ministry.
Her love for animals extends far and wide, but she holds a special fondness for her chihuahua, Gilbert, and her flock of chickens—who always keep life fun and interesting!

Alex is a dedicated Veterinary Technician and Kennel Manager with a career spanning since 2005. With
a strong background in veterinary care, Alex holds a certification in phlebotomy and has also served as
a phlebotomy instructor and Head Technician focusing on training new kennel and veterinary
technicians, showcasing a commitment to both hands-on care and education. Currently, Alex is focused
on revitalizing the kennel, aiming to enhance the quality of care provided to the animals under her
supervision. Outside of professional life, Alex enjoys a vibrant family life, residing with her husband, two
beautiful daughters, and her 4 legged baby named Louisa Sue. Weekends are often spent at the ball
field, where Alex supports family activities and embraces a balanced, active lifestyle

Katherine has been working in the veterinary field for over four years. She began her career part-time in the kennels while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in biology. During her studies, she gained valuable hands-on experience as both a kennel technician and veterinary technician, ultimately transitioning into a full-time technician role after graduating. Katherine is passionate about animal care and is dedicated to growing her skills in the field every day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family, and her beloved pets—Nox and Coop (affectionately known as Sir Cooperton). When she isn’t caring for animals, she can often be found relaxing with a good book.

Caitlyn joined Southland Veterinary Services in April 2024, bringing a deep-rooted passion for animals and a solid background in veterinary medicine since 2022. From a young age, Caitlyn's love for animals was evident through her experiences with horses, which sparked her lifelong dedication to veterinary care. She is currently pursuing her dream of becoming a LVT through Penn Foster College. Outside of work, Caitlyn enjoys quality time with her husband, their mixed breed dog, Hallie, and their Shih Tzu, Oswald. Her enthusiasm and commitment make her a wonderful addition to our team.
